Virtual: Accelerated Career Training Nurse Aide and Phlebotomy Information Session
Description
This virtual information session is designed for those who are interested or who have applied to take the Nurse Aide or Phlebotomy classes through Accelerated Career Training (ACT Program). Marcus Caldwell, Healthcare Continuing Education staff, will share details about what students will learn in either class, academic requirements and job information. ACT Program staff will share information on the scholarship program and the application process.

Accelerated Career Training (ACT) is a scholarship program for unemployed and low-income residents of the Charlotte area. The program provides short term career training opportunities in several different career pathways.
- Is attending this session required to be considered for the program?
This session is strongly encouraged for those who would like to be considered for Spring 2027 ACT Program classes. For those unable to attend, the slideshow will be available afterwards.
