Virtual: Accelerated Career Training EMT Information Session
Description
This session is designed for those who are interested or who have applied to take the EMT Basic class through Accelerated Career Training (ACT Program). Marie Hildreth, EMS Department faculty, will share details about the EMT class, class requirements and job prospects. ACT Program staff will share information on the scholarship program and the application process.

- What is Accelerated Career Training?
Accelerated Career Training (ACT) is a scholarship program for unemployed and low income residents of the Charlotte area. The program provides short term career training opportunities in several different career pathways.
- Is this required to be considered for the ACT Program?
This session is strongly encouraged for those who would like to be considered for Spring 2027 ACT Program classes. For those unable to attend, the slideshow will be available afterwards.
