Virtual: Accelerated Career Training IT Information Session
Description
This virtual information session is designed for those who are interested or who have applied to take the Information Technology classes through Accelerated Career Training (ACT Program). Sandra Torres, IT Continuing Education Program Manager, will share details about what students will learn in classes, academic requirements and job possibilities. ACT Program staff will share information on the scholarship program and the application process.

- What is Accelerated Career Training?
Accelerated Career Training (ACT) is a scholarship program for unemployed and low-income residents of the Charlotte area. The program provides short term career training opportunities in several different career pathways.
- Is attending this session required to be considered for the program?
This session is strongly encouraged for those who would like to be considered for Spring 2027 ACT Program classes. For those unable to attend, the session will be recorded and available afterwards.
