Virtual: YMCA Resource Room: From Classroom to Career
Description
Ready to take the next step toward your career goals? Join the YMCA of Greater Charlotte for an interactive virtual workshop designed to help you build confidence and prepare for future employment. Learn how to develop a strong resume, market your skills and experiences to potential employers, and prepare for successful interviews. We’ll also discuss what to expect from a professional hiring process and how to recognize a positive candidate experience. Plus, discover job and volunteer opportunities available through the YMCA of Greater Charlotte!
Open to all Central Piedmont students. Dual Enrollment, Early, and Middle College students are especially encouraged to attend!
What to bring: This is a virtual session, so please have a paper and pen ready to take notes and participate in workshop activities.
Please make sure to arrive at least 5 minutes early for this event to check-in!

Wear what makes you comfortable but there will be employers giving this workshop so it's never a bad idea to dress to impress!
